Northern Virginia Veterans Association: Serving our Military Community Past, Present and Future.

Dr. Angela H McConnell, Owner and CEO, served over 22 years in the U.S. Military: Army Active Duty, National Guard and Air Force Reserve, in both the enlisted ranks and officer corps. An additional mission Angela McConnell pursues revolves around supporting local Veterans/military and their families. After volunteering for multiple Veteran support organizations she founded the Northern Virginia Veterans Association in 2015. The mission is three-fold:

  1. Guide those in need through our comprehensive network of local resources including: Reintegration, Healthcare, Family & Caregiver Support, Fitness/Recreation/The Arts, Employment, Education, Finance and others.
  2. Be the local proactive Veteran/Military association attracting leaders and community partners who collaborate and provide information on their mission/initiatives while offering insight on needs and solutions yielding rapid, efficient effective results.
  3. A rally point for Veterans/military/supporters to team up and support other Veterans through ours and others initiatives, outreach, training & volunteer opportunities.
